Loot Vintage
Website replatform, app development & marketing
Having such a high quality web design company in Bristol is great. Through a clever website replatform, app design and marketing strategy, KJA Digital helped increase our brand awareness which in turn had a major impact on our online sales.
Rick Emerson - Owner, Loot Vintage
Hand picked vintage clothing from around the world. We believe in affordable, one off, unique fashion pieces that have lived a lifetime before you throw it on.
Loot Vintage is a well known vintage store in Bristol. They opened their virtual-doors about a year ago with an aim to bring quality vintage clothing to the rest of the world.
KJA DIGITAL was approached by Loot initially to improve the performance of their WordPress-based WooCommerce store. Our first task was to identify the low hanging fruit, and implement quick win solutions to improve conversions. During this process we identified the WooCommerce platform wasn’t best placed to suit their requirements.
Our suggestion was to migrate their site to a managed platform. Shopify came out on top. The migration to Shopify allowed us to streamline many processes. The site improved in many areas:
- Performance was a huge factor. The old site was poorly optimised, and running on slow hardware. The migration to Shopify led to a dramatic decrease in loading times.
- Security – Shopify had two factor authentication built in. This allowed us to lock down vital customer data.
- Processes – The Shopify platform allowed for a much more streamlined returns process. It also empowered the client to handle a lot of the platform configuration themselves.
Once the migration had been completed, going forward it meant there was more time to focus on customer acquisition. We put together a marketing plan, and helped Loot realise the potential of Facebook Advertising. Over the next year, we saw incredible growth. The site had become a major sales channel.
